The recent reconstruction and extension of a formerly dilapidated early 20th-century gallery-access apartment building into social housing, designed by architects Michal Palaščák and Roman Gala, is an example of redevelopment carried out within limited financial means while aiming for maximum aesthetic impact. The building contains 39 small apartments without parking spaces, intended for socially disadvantaged residents. The entire building is barrier-free and accessible to people with reduced mobility and orientation.
